On Sunday, January 7, 1973 Ed McCaffery, Jr. opened another Walton’s facility at 1745 Sullivan Lane in Sparks, NV. Unbelievably, 43 years later tragedy struck. On Monday, September 26, 2016 a fire started at the facility and completely destroyed the entire building. Not only was our company saddened but the entire neighborhood was wounded by this loss. We heard many stories of family events and gatherings that brought back memories daily when local residents drove to work or to take their children to school. We knew then it was imperative that we rebuild an even better facility right where the old one stood. Over a year later on Thursday, November 30, 2017 the MidSparks Event Center held its grand opening and has been working to serve the neighborhood and community with the highest level of excellence!
